Class Objective: Students will demonstrate close reading, critical thinking skills, and analyzing primary sources. Classwork: 3/18: All students must sign up for Khan Academy in their corresponding class hour.You will receive an assignment that needs to be completed by Friday at 4pm. 2ND PERIOD: https://www.khanacademy.org/join/CER8GKHN 4TH PERIOD: https://www.khanacademy.org/join/HY94QWZV Then, you may begin the Battle of Adwa DBQ - due 3/20 @ 4pm, use full sentences to provide complete (R.A.C.E.) answers! Partial sentences = partial credit. You will need to view the First Textbook Account HERE to complete the DBQ. DBQ answers may be written in a Word or Google doc and emailed to me on the due date or earlier for on-time submission credit. 3/20: All students must have (or create) a gmail account and log on to Google Classroom with the following codes: 2ND HOUR: qx7cmyv 4TH HOUR: 62jvk2z Click the nine dots next to your Google Account icon. Scroll through the Google apps until you see "Classroom" - you may have to click "load more". Once in Classroom, click the "+" sign to join a class and use the above codes for 2nd or 4th hour. Please let me know if you have trouble finding this by sending me your gmail address in Remind and I will add you to the Google Classroom. There you will be able to submit your assignments to me and take short quizzes. After this, please watch the short Khan Academy video review of Imperialism and how the rise of the Industrial Revolution correlates.
